the developed work was a continuation of the series "letter to my father" where memory and its erasements is a central question. the work was made for a specific situation, the occupation of an abandoned house in rio de janeiro in brazil by a group of artists. a small fragment of an embroidered floral pattern in a sheet is covered by new embroidery, creating a gap between present and past. the embroidered fragment is scanned and enlarged.
